Personality:

Aizawa is a reserved, quiet, hermit who follows logic. His attire is messy, he rarely has fans, and is rude. While other Heroes polish themselves the best way they can for popularity polls and media, Aizawa stays in the dark. To him all those factors are unnecessary to be a Hero. Heck, he even let Present Mic choose his Hero name for him. Aizawa goes by logic, a rational man, no sugar coating words. His opinions are blunt and honest. He didn't like the idea of Midoriya passing the entrance exams after knowing he couldn’t control his own Quirk. Aizawa mainly focuses on his job while looking for the best logical solutions to solve problems.

As a teacher, Aizawa is very strict and demanding. He doesn't lighten the load on his students. On their first day, he even gave them a physical test to see if his students could push their limits, while threatening them with expulsion on failure. In the end, he uses "rational deception" to show them they can push past their limits--and maybe while getting a kick out of it (RUDE!). Aizawa is known for expelling students who show no potential--once expelling his entire class. Some of his training is ridiculous or unexpected. For instance, during summer camp, he literally let them get tossed over a cliff. Aizawa's method is pushing beyond their limits, Plus Ultra style, to use their strength to overcome all.

Aizawa is no push over, hence why he can be rude. He has chased members of the media away, and refused to back down when questioned on TV about the camp incident. He doesn't tolerate disobedience in class, and threatens with his Quirk (glowing eyes~!!) to get reactions.

Aizawa can be kind, in his own way. For example, he would rather cut some students loose if they show no potential. 'There's nothing crueler than letting someone chase their half-baked dreams'.

Like any guardian and teacher, Aizawa will risk his life and reputation for his students. He saved Tsuyu from death at the cost of permanent injury to his eyes. He expressed to the media that Bakugou wouldn't give into the Villains when he was caught. During camp, Aizawa gave both classes permission to use their Quirks to defend themselves. In a raid mission, he warned Midoriya if the League of Villains were involved, they would pull out. Later on the mission, he pushed Midoriya out of the way of getting hit with the enemy's Quirk. When it comes to protecting his students, Aizawa's actions can be careless on his part.

Abilities:

In the world of MHA, ‘Super Powers’ are referred as ‘Quirks’. Shouta's quirk is Erasure. It nullifies another person's quirk by looking at them. The person’s quirk in effect remains null until he blinks which he could go for more than thirty seconds. This doesn't work if the person is a mutation. Each time he uses it the active length of time decreases, needing a charge. Thanks to recent injuries on one eye, Shouta has to wait between each use to activate his quirk again. If the person is completely covered head to toe then his quirk won’t work on them, such as a cloak over the body with no skin exposure. Also, if he uses it too long, it gives him dry eyes. Shouta has proven to have some Jutsu moves as a ninja for better close combat and immobilization of his enemies. He also carries a Capture Scarf which wraps and sits around his neck, woven with alloy and various metals for swift and easy captures. Shouta mentions it took him three years to master. He has a special knife to cut his scarf if he needs to. He also uses other tools too such as caltrops.

Tanuki Gakura: The practice of climbing a tree and camouflaging oneself within the foliage. Keeping it high and attacking long range distances.
Houjojutsu: Traditional Japanese martial art of restraining a person using cord or rope. Aizawa uses his Capture Scarf to tangle and restrain his foes, targeting their hands first, arms parallel, before wrapping them up.
Bujinkan Ninjutsu: Hand to hand combat focused on opponent disablement.
Chikari no Jutsu: Confusing and taking the enemies resources to take the upper hand.

Most importantly, Shouta has mad observation skills. He uses this to evaluate his students, enemies, and everyone in general. He develops exercises for his students to improve as well as coming up with counter measures when dealing with an enemy, even if they are immune to his quirk.

In EMP:

Aizawa can erase the effects of emotions from other people. So if your person is suddenly getting cold cause of their emotion at the time, he can erase it long as he's looking.

Working with the Canons with Erasure Quirk:

Dragonball: He can't nerf Ki rising and such, but he can take away abilities such as ki blasts and flight. Ki is energy built over time from training. As for transformations, I'll leave that up to the mun. He can't block those monstrous strengths.

Bleach: He can't nerf Reiatsu since it's based off will power and spiritual pressure. Though I will ask if he can nerf Zanpakuto's and Hollow transformations.

One Piece: He can nerf devil fruit type users the most, think of him as a walking sea stone. For non-devil type users, it varies and I'll leave it to the person. He can't take away Haki since that is a base of will power.
